This year, @SolarFred will be live video broadcasting the SPI Tweetup with Periscope, a new app from Twitter. It's like having a satellite truck in your pocket. The broadcast will go out live to @SolarFred's 12,000 followers on Twitter, who'll be able to ask questions to those attending the #SPIcon Tweetup (that's you!) To participate, download Periscope and follow @SolarFred from 6:30pm to 6:45pm Pacific Time on September 16th.

FAQs

The Tweetup's sold out! What if I put myself on the wait list?

We will contact you sometime by Tuesday, September 15, if we can find you a ticket. You will have 5 hours to respond, and then your ticket will go to the next person on the wait list. If you don't have a ticket by Tuesday night, you probably won't be allowed in. We will only have limited space and RSVPs will have priority.

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?

You must be 21 or over. Beer will be present.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

Either that or the App Ticket will work. Please RSVP. 1 ticket per person. If you want to bring somebody, send them the link.

The Tweetup is outside. What if it rains?

We'll still be there, rain or shine.
